The Supreme Court has refused to postpone the NEET PG 2022 exam and dismissed the plea of the group of doctors who were urging to postpone the exam in various ways. They were requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, and the central government to postpone the NEET PG 2022 exam by a few weeks
The Supreme Court refused the plea by saying that it would create a cascading effect on the admission schedule which was fixed by the court in January 2016. This will not result in good for the efforts of the government trying to get the admission and education field on track which was affected for 2 years of Covid-19.
If the NEET PG Exam 2022 gets postponed again then it will affect the NEET PG 2023 exam which is scheduled for January 2023.
Advocate Ashutosh Dubey and Abhishek Chauhan who had filed the plea of doctors to postpone the NEET PG Exam 2022 said, “The petitioners are the doctors who are doing their requisite internship with different hospitals across the country. The petitioners aspire to appear in NEET-PG examination 2022 to be held on May 21 for the purpose of choosing their career option as per their ranking, choice, and available options to them under different branches of medical science for Post-Graduation Courses”.

So the new date for NEET PG 2022 is fixed as May 21st, while the results are expected on 20 June 2022. The admit cards for this exam will be released on 16th May 2022.
