Below are the few elligibility criteria one should perfectly fit to study MBBS in Xi’an Jiaotong Medical University :

• The candidate’s age should be under 25 years.
• Candidate should have a valid ordinary passport.
• He/she should have completed his/her graduation from a well recognized high school or board or university.

• Students must fill the application form to study MBBS at Xi’an Jiaotong Medical University.
• They should submit all the copies of the necessary documents and the completed form to the University.
• Students should receive the admission letter or the invitation letter from the university in order to proceed for the MBBS admission at Xi’an Jiaotong Medical University.
• Students should pay the application fees.
• Once the school receives the bank receipt of the student, the student’s application will be processed by the school.
• Students should check, evaluate, and authenticate every document before applying for a visa.

• Photocopy of student’s valid passport (Passport type must be ordinary).
• Notarized copies of senior high school graduation diploma either in English or Chinese.
• Students should provide the certificate of no-crime records.
• 2 recent passport size photographs.
• Students should provide notarized copies of high school academic transcripts, including courses taken and standard achieved.

• Apartment for International Students is in Xingqing Campus, and there the accommodation’s price is approximately 65-150 RMB/Day (that is, Rs.22k to Rs.47k approximately/month).
• Students need to book the rooms in the application form in advance.
• Students can take the rooms on rent off-campus as well, it is allowed.
• There are 24 hours check-in service available.
• There are no hotels at the university campus.
• Students can pay the rent or the hostel fees semester wise or yearly by cash.

Students should first receive original documents including admission letter and study visa form issued by Xi’an Jiaotong Medical University.

Then they should go through the study visa application in China Consulate or China Embassy in their country.

• Xi’an has four distinct seasons with temperate continental monsoon climate.
• Xi’an has a hot and rainy Summer, while winter is usually cold and dry.
• In Xi’an, the rainy season is from July to September, though there is significant rain from April to October, with showers that come and go quickly. As the weather is generally pleasant all the year round in Xi’an, one can visit Xi’an any time of the year, but spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit Xi'an.
• Xi’an connects Northwest China with other regions as it has been a portal and traffic hub.

XJTU is preparing the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of its western relocation and the 120th anniversary of Jiaotong University. The goal of the event is to optimize teaching practices, gather resources and networks to produce tangible and intangible results, and carry on the traditional excellence.
