Dr. D. Y Patil Institute of Technology was founded in 1998, it is then converted into the Institute of technology & engineering in the academic year of 2002-2003.

The institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation & has been awarded ‘A’ grade by Government of Maharashtra, India.

Eligibility Criteria for B.tech course at Dr. D. Y Patil Institute of Technology

Candidate should be HSC passed with 50% marks for General category students & 45% marks for reserved category students.
Candidate should have taken physics & mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Vocational subjects.
Candidate have to score in MHT-CET or JEE-Mains
Candidate should have passed diploma in engineering/B.Sc degree from recognized university or board with 50% (General category) & 45% (For Reserved category).

Admission Process for B.tech Course at Dr. D. Y Patil Institute of Technology

Registration

Candidate needs to fill application form along with valid details.
Candidate should submit the print out of application form to facilitation center (FC) with all original documents.
After verification of the documents, a candidate will get confirmation from facilitation center for admission.

Merit Declaration

After confirmation of documents, provisional merit list will be declared as per availability of category-wise seats.
As per merit basis, seat allotment is done.
Candidate should report to the ARC center after first allotment is done.
After seat allotment, a candidate has to pay DD in favor of competent authority.
Candidate should pay Rs.5000 (for General caste) & Rs.1000 (For SC/ST caste)

Department offers the 4-year undergraduate course & 2-year postgraduate course in Electronics & Telecommunication.

3 Instrumentation Engineering

4 Mechanical Engineering

Department of mechanical engineering was founded in the year of 2008-09.
Department offers a 4-year undergraduate course with an intake of 180 students.

5 Civil Engineering
