The Bachelor programmes (in 64 subject areas) at the national university ‘Lviv Polytechnic’ take 4 years, and the Specialist and Master programmes (in 124 specialties) take from 1 to 1.5 years depending on the subject area.
The post-graduate (Doctoral) courses at this university takes 3 years with the full-time form of study and 4 years with the extramural form of study. On completion of the post-graduate (Doctoral) course and successful defense of the dissertation, the university confers a degree of the Candidate of Science in the field of research.
