Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC) was founded by Deccan Education Society in 1943. Dr. D. G. Karve was the first principle of BMCC College who was the Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India. After Dr. Karve, there is a number of members played a significant role in the development of College.

BMCC has a modern language laboratory with 5 foreign languages. The college affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune university and have produced a number of professionals like Sharad Pawar, Cyrus Poonawalla, Sulajja Firodia.

Deccan Education Society was established in 1884 in Pune providing recognized education in India with an establishment of New English School Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be 12th passed with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Candidate should have to clear CET entrance exam conducted by the university/institute.
Counseling is done on merit basis.
For Indian nationals, a candidate should have a domicile certificate indicating the nationality of Indian.

Admission Process at BMCC - For BCA Course

Step 1: Candidates seeking to BCA admissions at BMCC needs to apply directly through the institute online portal.

Step 2: Candidate should have to collect admission form from the admission office by paying the given application fee.

Step 3: Candidate must submit a valid copy of documents along with application form to the admission office.

Step 4: Selection of students will totally depend upon the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

Step 5: For reserved candidates, admissions are carried out as per rules & regulations of Government of Maharashtra.
