Baltic International Academy was founded in 1992. This is one of the largest non-governmental higher educational institutions in the Baltic States.
The university is officially accredited HEI in Latvia and recognized worldwide study programmes. The university provides European-level higher education and offers 26 study programmes and 8 study directions.
The university has 2057 students, 1046 full-time students and more than 30,000 graduates. Belfast University has 400 cooperation agreements with universities worldwide, which includes 145 inter-university agreements under the ERASMUS + program with universities from 25 European countries.
At BIA, lectures, seminars and master classes are led by highly qualified lecturers, business environment professionals, and researchers of which 110 are professors and specialists with a doctoral degree. Students can experience a Multinational study environment at BIA as 500 foreign students from 30 countries study here.

Step 1: Applicants should do document submission. Documents can be submitted in Admission committee, or students can send them in scan version to visa@bsa.edu.lv.
Step 2: Applicants should pay the Application fee:
Step 3: Then verification of the education documents at the Academic Information Center (AiC) in Latvia will be done. This process can take up to four months.
Step 4: Applicants are then required to pay the Tuition fee.
Step 5: Applicants will then have to sign an Execution of an agreement.
Step 6: Students can then apply for the visa. ( short-terms stay visa (for 90 days)).
Step 7: Applicants can then book a flight and land in Latvia.
