To get admission to ITMO University, applicants should follow these steps:

Step 1: Choose a Program: The applicants willing to take admission to any degree course at ITMO university must choose a program she/he wants to take admission to.

Step 2: Submit an application: Applicants must apply to the ITMO University; students can also apply online on the university's official admission site.

Step 3: Submit Documents: After applying, the university will ask the students to submit the documents online. The university will update the students about the date of document submission through the mail, or students will have to check the website.

Step 4: Entrance Exam: After document submission, students will have to take the unified state exam to secure admission to ITMO University.

Step 5: Submission of original documents: After getting the results, applicants will submit the entrance exam results and remaining documents to the university.

Step 6: Invitation/ Confirmation Letter: After a few days, the university will issue an invitation or confirmation letter to the student.

Step 7: Tuition Fee Payment: After getting the university's confirmation, the applicant will have to pay the university tuition fee and get the receipt.

Step 8: Visa: Applicants will have to apply for a long-term student visa to the nearest Russian Embassy. They will have to submit a copy of the invitation letter and tuition fee payment receipt to get a visa.

Step 9: Inform the University: After getting the student visa, applicants will have to inform the university about the day and date of arrival.
