The admission process is centralized which is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State:

Step 1: The candidate must be an Indian National.

Step 2: The candidates must have passed the higher secondary examination with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and other vocational subjects.

Step 3: The candidates must have passed 50% marks for general category students and 45% for backward category students.

Step 4: The candidate must obtain a non-zero score in JEE Main/CET exam conducted by competent authority.

• The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 1996 with NBA(National Board of Accreditation) accreditation having intake capacity of 120 students for the undergraduate program.
• The main aim of the department is to provide state of art for computing department to develop high-skilled professionals.
• The department organized the technical conferences like TECHTONIC and FINEPRO for the involvement of students in participating research-oriented projects.

• The department was established in 1996 with NBA(National Board of Accreditation) accreditation with intake capacity of 60-300 for the undergraduate program.
• The department also offers the postgraduate specialization in Design Engineering, Heat Power Engineering, Automotive engineering, Mechatronics etc. there are 50 faculty members in this department who proactively involved in research projects such as energy auditing, industrial evaluation, design, and development etc.

• Department of Electronic and Telecommunication was established in 1996 offers the 4-year undergraduate degree and it has maintained cutting-edge technology through research, industry projects with intake capacity of 180 students.
• The department also offered a postgraduate programme in Digital system, VLSI, Signal processing, Communication system, machine intelligence, measurements etc.
• The department has received the grant in research projects by AICTE and Savitribai Phule University, Pune.

• Department of Information Technology was established in 1999 which offers the undergraduate degree BE (IT) and postgraduate degree ME (IT) with intake capacity of 120 students.
• The department is accredited by NBA in 2009. The department provides leading IT services by supporting testing and high-end technologies.
• The department ranked in the merit of Savitribai Phule University due to its high-quality education standard.

• Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2000 at Sinhgad College of Engineering with an intake capacity of 180 students.
• The department is accredited by NBA-Delhi.
• The department also provides two-year postgraduate programs in hydraulics engineering, structural Engineering, environmental engineering.
• The department is awarded as one of the research centers by the University of Pune for Ph.D. studies.

• The Department of Production Engineering was established in 1998 which offers the 4-year undergraduate program with an intake capacity of 60 students.

• The department of chemical engineering was established in 1996 with an intake capacity of 60 students.
• The department offers the 4-year undergraduate degree with involvement of fields of Petrochemicals, organic and inorganic chemicals, food processing industry and core engineering sciences.
• The department has well-equipped laboratories, a computer center with wifi internet access.
• The department also has high precision analytical instruments like UV-Spectrophotometer and AAS.
• The main aim of the department is to provide ethical professional practice and chemical engineering practice.

• The department of biotechnology was established in 2006 which offers the undergraduate degree in biotechnology with an intake capacity of 60 students.
• The department has well-equipped labs conducts the practicals in various biology subjects cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, etc.
• Students are trained in cutting-edge technologies like fermentation technology, genetic engineering, western blot etc.
